Detachment
"And never have I felt so deeply at one and the same time so detached from myself and so present in the world…"
Albert Camus
This work is inspired by an existentialism philosopher named Albert Camus. In this work, different pictures and letters, as well as paintings are used to create an atmosphere of changes of time and space. With my roommates, friends, and professor… childhood memory, getting my passport and finally leaving for a new life…
Tickets from GZ to LAX indicates that I was going through the catharsis of existentialism via changing my living space, and starting a whole new life. At the same time, the unfinished wire-human shape suggests that the detachment from my old identity is still going on.
Transformation only matters if you really going through something yourself.
